Meet the Team Behind Affida
We're a group of BYU FinTech founders on a mission to help Americans escape the burden of high-interest credit card debt.
Our Story
Affida was founded by a group of BYU students who became aware that credit card debt is at an all-time high in America.
We were shocked to discover that 78% of Americans don't pay off their credit card balance every month, and many are living paycheck to paycheck, trapped in a cycle of high-interest debt.
As we researched this serious issue, we recognized that while lower-interest options exist, the process of transferring balances is often confusing, time-consuming, and filled with fine print that discourages people from making the switch.
That's why we created Affida — a service that automatically helps customers transfer their balances to cards with lower interest rates, without the hassle, to assist people in getting out of debt.
